JONATHAN GAGNON, M.ED
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist | Owner at Hybrid Health and Performance
Jonathan Gagnon, M.Ed, is dedicated advocate for health and human performance, merging his expertise as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a passion for education and innovation. As the owner of Hybrid Health and Performance, Jonathan is committed to helping individuals of all ages and abilities reach their fitness goals while prioritizing injury prevention and overall well-being.
With a Master's Degree in Kinesiology, he continues to teach as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maine, instructing Kinesiology/Biomechanics to the next generation of professionals. Jonathan's curiosity for innovation led him to play an important role in the creation of Kinotek, a 3D markerless human motion capture company headquartered in Portland, Maine. He remains actively involved in the product development team, working towards building cutting-edge technology to advance human movement analysis and optimize performance outcomes.
At Hybrid Health and Performance, Jonathan employs diverse training methods to optimize performance and mitigate injury in recovery. Whether working with athletes or assisting individuals recover from injuries, he emphasizes improving movement quality, performance, and overall well-being. Jonathan's passion for fitness motivates him to continuously explore innovative techniques, aiming to educate and inspire others to achieve their goals.
Outside of his professional life, he enjoys an active lifestyle filled with outdoor recreation activities, from cycling and mountain biking to skiing, paddleboarding, and boating, finding joy in staying active and exploring the great outdoors.
MILES GAGNON
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist | Coach at Hybrid Health and Performance
Miles Gagnon is a committed and experienced coach at Hybrid Health and Performance. With over a decade of experience training clients and holding a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Maine, Miles possesses a strong background in health and fitness to effectively guide and support his clients throughout their training.
Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), he has honed his skills training clients at institutions such as the University of Maine New Balance Center and Harvard Law School. Miles is committed to continually learning the latest trends and strategies to optimize his clients' health.
What sets Miles apart is his holistic approach to fitness. He creatively integrates customized training programs with sound nutritional guidance, that help drive sustainable results. As an avid cyclist and athlete, Miles understands firsthand the transformative power of an active lifestyle. His passion for fitness is contagious, motivating clients of all levels to push their boundaries and achieve their goals.
Beyond the gym, you'll often find Miles exploring rugged mountain biking trails or cruising along scenic roads on his bike.
